Ray has been a long term supporter of ours and he defientely enjoyed the latest offerings from us.
Hanging Rock Tarzali Riesling 2010 ($18)
This wine comes from the strathbogie Ranges. It has a typical fresh minerality evident with the first sip. The extra year in the bottle is starting to pay dividends with the slightly richer palate emerging through still with a tight, fine framework. This will be excellent drinking over the next few years.
Hanging Rock Macedon NV Brut Cuvee XII ($49.50)
One of the most distinctive Australian sparkling wines. It's a blend of vintages dating back to 1987, with each aged in oak for two years. As a result it has great power and intensity and is a more robust style. Can handle more robust food, too.
