This powerful Macedon region sparkler is made from pinot noir and chardonnay, 50 per cent from 1999 blended with wines going back to 1987. Complex and forceful, it hhas a pale yellow gold colour reminiscent of glace fruit, gingerbread and nuts. The palate is full-bodied and complete with great texture and richness, ahead of a long finish.
Ageing? Drink over two years.
