Macedon Cuvee XI. An elegant wine; long, lively and citrussy, with a crisp clean finish, and perfect dosage; 50 % 2000, remainder reserves back to 1987; 51 months on lees.
Rating: 96 Points DRINK: 2009 $45
Macedon LD (Late Disgorged) Cuvée VI. Excellent fine mousse attests to its very long lees contact, as does the immaculate balance despite its low dosage of only 2 grams per litre of sugar. The complex bready/biscuity characters of the palate are reminiscent of Bollinger, and very good acidity stretches out the long, lingering finish
Rating: 96 Points DRINK: 2008 $110
Macedon Brut Rosé NV. Pale pink; a totally seductive rosé style; strawberry fruit and perfect acidity/dosage. Estate-grown Pinot Noir.
Rating: 92 Points DRINK: 2010 $27
Heathcote Shiraz 2003. Glorious colour; big, rich, condensed fruit and ample tannins; floods the mouth with flavour.
Rating: 95 Points DRINK: 2013 $60
Cambrian Rise Heathcote Shiraz 2003. Great colour; a powerful, rich and focused array of lush black fruits in full-on regional style; does not go over the top.
Rating: 94 Points DRINK: 2023 $27
The Jim Jim Sauvignon Blanc 2005. Attractive gooseberry and citrus aromas and flavours; great drive on a vibrant finish and aftertaste. Screwcap.
Rating: 94 Points DRINK: Now $27
Gralaine Cabernet Sauvignon 2002. Supple, smooth and gently ripe fruit with good oak, tannin and extract. Gold Medal 2005 Geelong Wine Show.
Rating: 94 Points DRINK: 2008 $27
Kilfara Pinot Noir 2004. Bright purple red; an interesting wine with lively, bright plum and spice fruit; particularly good line and mouthfeel. Very well made. Surprise package.
Rating: 94 Points DRINK: 2011 $18
Rowbottoms Heathcote Shiraz 2003. Great colour; powerful black fruits with a savoury edge; very interesting how slightly lower alcohol manifests itself in flavour and mouthfeel, more to ’02 than’03 in style.
Rating: 93 Points DRINK: 2018 $33
Strathbogie Ranges Chardonnay 2004. Light green straw; nectarine and citrus fruit seamlessly woven through new French oak; while only light to medium bodied, has good length and acidity. Screwcap.
Rating: 90 Points DRINK: 2010 $20
Amaroo Farm Big Rivers Shiraz 2003. Very good colour; remarkable concentration and density of fruit given the region and vintage; lots of plumy fruit flavour, soft tannins and balanced American oak.
Rating: 90 Points DRINK: 2013 $27
Tarzali Strathbogie Ranges Riesling 2005 Herb, mineral and spice aromas; bright, crisp and minerally with just a twitch of lime; dry style. Screwcap
Rating: 89 Points DRINK: 2013 $18
Amaroo Farm Shiraz Mourvèdre 2003 Bright hue, particularly for its age; light to medium bodied, with fresh, lively red fruits and some tannin support from the Mourvèdre.
Rating: 89 Points DRINK: 2008 $18
Yin Barun Merlot Cabernet Franc 2003 A quite elegant medium bodied wine; fruit driven by red currant and raspberry flavours; light tannins.
Rating: 89 Points DRINK: 2010 $27

Rating: 86 Points DRINK: Now $25
Gralaine Merlot 2002
Rating: 85 Points DRINK: 2008 $27
