'The Jim Jim' Sauvignon Blanc 2007
The accompanying notes say the grapes were picked in three stages and 10 percent of the wine was fermented in new French Oak. This has removed the harsh, green bite that a lot of people like about the variety. For me this retains Sauvignon character but has added depth and a more satisfying flavour; it’s good wine.
