Built up from the earth, Docklands will offer you locally grown and sourced food, cooked by chefs from our neighbourhood with dishes developed around tasty, earthy flavours. Come and relax by the cooling waters of Victoria Harbour over lunch while being entertained with live music and performers – all in a place we have created for you by removing 2.3 million cubic metres of earth!

Ex Masterchef finalist, Dani Venn, will join us on Saturday with a series of cooking demonstrations learn some handy tips to become your own Masterchef at home. Vendors are: Costco, Le Cirque, Va Bene, Platform 28, Burger Monster, Pok Pok, Hanging Rock, Broo, B&B Gozleme, Wagners Fine Foods and Bianco Latte.

Melbourne Food and Wine Festival - Picnic and Jazz in the Park performed by Melbourne’s finest musical secondary colleges.
Bring a picnic rug and a beach tent.

Put Victoria on your Plate and enjoy Farmers Market style fare with some of the best local wining and dining opportunities. Claypots Evening Star (South Melbourne Market), Timboon Fine Ice Cream, Hooks on the Yarra, Hanging Rock Winery, Bistro Vite specialty tasting plates, Mad Duck coffee, and Mission to Seafarers Farmers Market.

10:30am till 6pm ferry from the World Trade Centre Urban Picnic or Federation Square every 15 mins. Cost $5 all day, children under 12 free. Jazz musicians on board.

MACEDON RANGES BUDBURST WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

Celebrate winemaking at the source in the Macedon Ranges at its source. Join the winegrowers of the Macedon Ranges Wine Region at their annual Budburst Wine and Food festival and the buds burst on the vines.

Discover the diversity of limited edition wines and artisan produce in the Macedon Ranges, just over an hour from Melbourne, during the Budburst Weekend.

This year we will be hosting this event in the great atmosphere of the barrel hall. As well as fantastic wines and our first ever warehouse sale there will also be great entertainment and gourmet food.

Entertainment: Jefferson Smith will be providing some great wine drinking music including some classic covers.

Food: The food will be provided by the talented team of Nola Poor Boy. They will be serving dishes including: Charcuterie, homemade Pate, and wonderful Hanging Rock Beef skewers. They will be serving this alongside great coffee and Mexican soft drinks.

When: 16th- 17th November 2013

Hanging Rock Warehouse Sale 16th-17th November 2013

After a number of years of accumulating small batches of ends of runs, cancelled export orders and forgotten treasures Rob has decided to make room in the warehouse, by selling the wine to you.

Prices are mostly $50 per six pack and $90 per dozen, although there will be some extra special specials across the weekend. Some lots as small as 4 dozen.

First come, first serve, all wines will be available for tasting!
The warehouse sale will be held in the barrel hall in conjunction with the Budburst Festival.
