Hanging Rock Winery is located just north of the famous Hanging Rock landmark, only a 55 minute drive from Melbourne in The Macedon Ranges Wine region of Victoria, Australia.

Established in 1983 by John and Ann Ellis, our flagship range is headed by 'Macedon', a rich, complex, dry-finishing, non-vintage Champagne-style sparkling, unashamedly modelled on the non-vintage wines of Krug and Bollinger. The sparkling range includes the deluxe Macedon LD (Late Disgorge) NV Brut with ten years on lees, the Macedon NV Brut Cuvée (the current release Cuvée XII was disgorged after 46 months on lees) and the Macedon NV Brut Rosé - a younger, fresh aperitif style with 12 months on lees.
Other wines in our flagship range are the Heathcote Reserve Shiraz (an aged release), Heathcote Shiraz which has amassed 3 Trophies and 52 Gold Medals in just 14 vintages and 'The Jim Jim’ Sauvignon Blanc.

The Super Premium 'Black Label' range includes Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Merlot-Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Pinot Noir.

The Premium 'Yellow Label' range includes, Chardonnay, Marsanne, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon
