Hanging Rock Heathcote Shiraz 2004
Ken Gargett Don't Buy wine without me - 2008 Edition
Fabulous fruit and more elegant than many Heathcote reds.... J
ohn Ellis’s iconic Heathcote Shiraz is grown on 20 acres from which he averages around 35 tonnes. The terrible 2007 conditions reduced that to a farcical 3 tonnes.
So it doesn’t take Stephen Hawking to work out that we won’t be seeing much of that wine when – if – it’s released.
Meanwhile this current release is one of John’s best so if you’ve got the dough, jump on board. Fabulous fruit and more elegant than many Heathcote reds.
