August 7. Last night Hanging Rock Macedon sparkling won the Federation Square Wine Regions Annual Award for 'Best Sparkling - White, Red or Rosé'

Since 2004 Federation Square has promoted Victorian wine through its hugely popular Regional Showcase Series. Each month adifferent wine region of Victoria is SHowcased with a two day public tasting in the wonderful Atrium space at Melbourne's Federation Square. Exhibiting wineries are invited to enter their wines for judging in the monthly awards; those gaining a silver or gold medal at this level are elibible to enter the Annual Awards Judging
