Rock Shiraz blend is a wine designed for today’s palate - full flavoured but a little lighter in weight than many Shiraz based blends.
It’s made with style, from approximately 60% Shiraz, blended with approximately 15% of Grenache, 14% Mourvèdre and 11% Pinot Noir.
The result is a lively, flavoursome and satisfying wine, always very drinkable from the moment it is bottled.
Medium bodied with some obvious tannin and an excellent example of skilful blending; the richness of the Shiraz, the spicy ripe characteristics of the Grenache, the smooth texture and flavour of the Pinot Noir and the structure of the Mourvèdre combine to produce a great food wine.
Rock Shiraz blend matches well with most meat dishes and with pasta dishes featuring tomato based sauces.
