Hanging Rock Heathcote Shiraz 2004- Don't Buy Wine Without Me 2008 Edition- Ken Gargett
Fabulous fruit and more elegant than many Heathcote reds.... John Ellis’s iconic Heathcote Shiraz is grown on 20 acres from which he averages around 35 tonnes. The terrible 2007 conditions reduced that to a farcical 3 tonnes.
So it doesn’t take Stephen Hawking to work out that we won’t be seeing much of that wine when – if – it’s released.
Meanwhile this current release is one of John’s best so if you’ve got the dough, jump on board. Fabulous fruit and more elegant than many Heathcote reds.
