16th October 2021 until 25th April 2022
Following on from three hugely successful Art in the Vines sculpture exhibitions in 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21, Hanging Rock Winery is pleased to present a new exhibition for the 2021/22 season launching on October 16th 2021.
Presenting Art in the Vines – Sculpture Exhibition
Renowned Exhibition Curator, Malcolm Thomson - who for the forth consecutive year has been engaged to deliver Art in the Vines.
Because of the challenges we have all faced over the last 18 months or so we have decided to forgo a theme this year. This gives the artists the opportunity to submit a piece of work that feels most appropriate for the space and venue, rather than having to constrain it to a theme.
For this exhibition we are working with over twenty five renowned local and national artists to exhibit sculptures that will thrill, mesmerise, excite and intrigue. It promises to be an extraordinary exhibition of sculpture, staged at a venue that has fast established itself as the home of sculpture in the Macedon Ranges and one of the biggest sculpture exhibitions in the state.
Time to start planning your escape? What’s better than a guided wine tasting from the region’s largest selection, then walking the sculpture trail before kicking back and treating yourself to one of our cheeseboards and taking in the Macedon Ranges’ most iconic vista. Bliss!
