The grapes for this wine come from the Tarzali vineyard in the Strathbogie Ranges. This vineyard is owned by John & Ann’s cousins, David & Pauline Ross.
Tempranillo is traditionally a Spanish grape variety. It is known for being low in both acid and sugar making the wines soft, plush and eminently very drinkable.
The softness and brightness of this wine makes it a great summer red. Its complexity and balance also means it goes well with most food.
