The grapes for this wine come from the Tarzali vineyard in the Strathbogie Ranges. This vineyard is owned by our founders, John & Ann Ellis’s cousins, David & Pauline Ross.
Tempranillo is traditionally a Spanish grape variety. It is known for being low in both acid and sugar making the wines soft, plush and eminently very drinkable.
The softness of this wine makes it a very easy drinking red. Its complexity, depth and balance also means it goes well with most food.
When available, this wine is one of our most popular wines in Cellar Door. There was only 110 dozen produced. It is likely to sell out quickly.
