All Weather Marquee

Why not take some time to enjoy a glass of wine, a produce platter and the scenery, regardless of the weather? Our spacious, all weather marquee is open every day, all year round. It's cool in summer and warm in winter and always looks over those iconic views of Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon.

Local Produce Platters Available

We have local produce platters available at the cellar door every day. Each board features a selection of local artisan cheeses and cured, estate-grown beef, served with a range of seasonal accompaniments. Platters start at $30 for a platter for two, more informationhere

Picnic tables are available and you can enjoy the view of Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon with your cheese platter and a glass of wine. Or, bring a picnic blanket and spread out on our spacious lawn. In the cooler months, we'll have the heaters on in our enclosed marquee area.

Walk-ins are welcome and no reservations are required for our platters or wine tastings. We're also dog-friendly and look forward to welcoming your dog on a lead outside.

Art in the Vines - Annual Sculpture Exhibition

A handful of permanent sculptures can be viewed all year round at Hanging Rock Winery. Each year a new exhibition is launched and runs from October - April. The 2024-25 season will launch in late October working with over twenty-six renowned local and national artists to exhibit sculptures that will thrill, mesmerize, excite, and intrigue. What’s better than a guided wine tasting from the region’s largest selection, then walking the sculpture trail before kicking back and treating yourself to one of our cheeseboards and taking in the Macedon Ranges’ most iconic vista. Bliss!

Hanging Rock Speckle Park Beef

Cellar Door visitors can take home various cuts of beef, all from two-year-old grass-fed animals, and sold with the same information you would expect to see on a wine label, including age, breed, tasting notes, and of course, suggested wine matches. Cured meats such as pastrami, pastirma, bresaola, and occasionally pies are also available.
