The inaugural 2018 Hanging Rock Winery Sculpture Exhibition will be the first of its type to ever be hosted in the Macedon Ranges. Twenty-six of the leading local, national and international sculpture artists have been engaged for the exhibition to be held at Hanging Rock Winery.
Along with sculptures of varying sizes, forms and materials there will be an extensive artist in residence and work shop program incorporating painting, bronze cast creation, creating sculptures using natural materials and more.
To learn more about the sculpture exhibition and the workshops sign up to our wine club to receive emails with information as it becomes available or like our facebook page for up to date information as it comes to hand.
Budburst in the Macedon Ranges is when the wine producers of the region put on a festival to celebrate the beginning of the vintage. 20 wineries over 14 sites will participate. For us at The Hanging Rock Winery, this is the largest event of the year. This year is no different:
Held in the very atmospheric Barrel Hall (all weather dependant)
Food by Monsieur Pierre
Live music all weekend
Our annual warehouse sale
Tasting of the entire Hanging Rock range, including some new releases
Entry into the festival is $15. This gets you into all 14 venues and entitles you to a commemorative glass.
This Budburst Festival we will again be opening the doors to our beautiful barrel hall and what comes with that is our annual warehouse cleanskin sale. Our opportunity to move some of those odd ends that clog up the corners of the warehouse, and your opportunity to get a great bargain on some stellar cleanskin wines.
Can’t wait to share a drink and show off our wines, see you on the weekend.
