Kern - Al Phemister

During my travels in Cornwall, UK, I was mesmerized by the circles of ancient stone forms still resilient in the modern world. The timeless and endless nature of these natural but deliberate forms are reflected in ‘Kern’. I wanted to create a series of forms that explore the endless circle like that of Men-an-toll in the Cornish countryside. I want others to feel some of that ancient mystery of circles and hope that my work also finds its place sentinel in the countryside or spaces, while speaking quietly and gently.
