Begin with a glass of Macedon Brut Cuvée XXII before touring Duneira Estate's magnificent gardens with General Manager and Garden Designer, Melina Goddard and its art collection with Professor Julian Goddard, Honorary Professor, artist, curator and former Dean of Art at RMIT. Enjoy a wine-matched dinner by Emma James Catering, hosted by Hanging Rock Winery's Robert Ellis, Head Wiinemaker and Ruth Ellis General Manager, 5th generation Australian wine industry professional. While contemporary pianist Dan Ribgy performs on the grand piano throughout an unforgettable evening.

The Astronomical Society of Victoria (ASV) will bring powerful telescopes to the winery, offering a breathtaking view of the night sky, guided by passionate experts. We learn about what is happening in the night sky! This is a weather-dependant evening! More details as we are given best weather viewing dates by the ASV. This will be their third visit to the winery!

Experience the Best of Budburst at The Hanging Rock Winery!Budburst is the Macedon Ranges largest food and wine event for the year. We're proud to have participated in all 35 Budburst events over the year. Relax with free tastings of nearly 20 wines, indulge in local produce platters, and enjoy live music under our all-weather marquee. Wander through our Art in the Vines sculpture exhibition, one of the largest in Victoria, or find a spot on our extensive lawns to soak up the atmosphere.

Carols by the Barrels – Join us for an enchanting evening of pre-Christmas cheer at our inaugural Carols by the Barrels event on Saturday, 12th December 2026,from5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.Join us for an enchanting evening of Pre-Christmas cheer at our Carols by the Barrels event. Enjoy live performances of festive favourites by the acclaimed Woodend Warblers, a 40-member choir bringing the spirit of the season to life. Indulge in gourmet delights, including our award-winning Hanging Rock beef pies and sausage rolls, artisanal cheese platters, and a selection of our celebrated wines, all available for purchase. The cellar door will also be open for tastings of our full range. Best of all, your ticket purchase will be donated to support a great cause, chosen by the Woodend Warblers. Celebrate the season with music, food, wine, and good company!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day on Sunday, 14th of February, from 10am - 5pm, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hanging Rock. Enjoy live music by The Corduroys, a glass of bubbles on arrival, and a range of delicious offerings; including pre-ordered picnic dinner boxes and local produce platters.

It’s on again! Our Long Lunch is back by popular demand. Set amongst the sculptures, in an all-weather marquee, you'll take your seat at the 25 metre-long table to enjoy a three-course lunch, matched with an impressive selection of current vintage and museum wines. The day includes drinks on arrival, live music from So Saxy, prizes and specials on your favourite Hanging Rock wines.

Local Iyengar yoga instructor Renata Smenda will guide us through a one-hour yoga journey in the vines, overlooking the delights of The Vines, Hanging Rock and the Macedon Ranges.

Guided Hike to the top of the Jim and enjoy Sparkling and Cheese.
