Andrew Kasper

Andrew Kasper is a Bass Coast and Melbourne based artist who specialises in corten and stainless-steel sculpture. His work aesthetically aims to present a sense of joy to the viewer and convey feelings of peace and harmony. Through symbolic, rhythmic and kinetic forms, his work engages with the environment, whether private gardens, outdoor public spaces, or the undulating and rugged cliffs of coastal Australia. The beauty of Andrew's sculpture, which he has described as being based on simplicity, are enhanced by their material relationship to the landscape in which they sit, interacting and moving with the rise and flow of natural forces such as the seas, wind and light.

His working studio and sculpture garden, Artfusion Gallery, is located in Anderson (90 minutes from Melbourne) and is open to the public and shared with his glass artists partner, Marlene Abela. Andrew's work is represented in corporate and private collections in Australia and the USA, and his piece, Tranquility has won two sculpture acquisition competitions, Tesselaar Exhibition First Prize in and Neeim Bower Acquisition.
